Welcome to my “other” blog! This blog will represent my other loves in the art world, along with cards. I will be posting my art journal and mixed-media projects. Other art that you will see will depict Steampunk, fantasy, Gothic, horror, anything that the word “alternative” encompasses. I hope you enjoy the ride with me!

RSD and Monster Madness Blog Hop

Welcome to Friday and the start of a wonderful weekend! Rick St. Dennis’s Elite Design Team has joined in a Monster Madness Blog Hop hosted by Annie Walls and co-hosted by Little Gothic Horrors and Something Wicked This Way Comes. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.

I went a little cute with my little monster. I would like to introduce you to Fwiver. You can find other cute monsters in Rick’s Cute Little Monsters section in his store on Zibbet.

Fwiver was colored with Copics, fussy cut, and layered on Stampin’ Up!’s Taken with Teal and Pink Pirouette cardstock. The die that I used for the layering is Spellbinder’s Labels 13. The first white label was distressed with DI’s Peacock Feathers.

Copics used:
Fwiver: BG000, 02, 07, 09
Horns & Clothes: R81, 83, 85, 89
Skull & Wrist Wraps: C0, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
Background: W00, 0, 1, 2, & R81

My designer paper is from Stampin’ Up! but I am unsure of what designer collection. This was trimmed to size and layered on more of the above cardstock. My sentiment is computer generated and I thought was very fitting, “Monsters can wear pink too.” The pearls and flower are from my stash. My ribbon is a scrap of paper ribbon that was the embellishments of a gift bag. I hardly every throw ribbon away.

Fwiver would like to enter the following challenges:
Add a little Dazzle – Color or Anything Goes
A Random Fan Challenge Blog – Anything Goes

Did you know that we have a Rick St. Dennis Facebook group with a bi-weekly art contest? Well we do. We have also reopened our challenges on Rick’s Sparkle & Glitter blog. I hope you join us.

Thanks for stopping by today. If you have any questions, please contact me.
