Welcome to my “other” blog! This blog will represent my other loves in the art world, along with cards. I will be posting my art journal and mixed-media projects. Other art that you will see will depict Steampunk, fantasy, Gothic, horror, anything that the word “alternative” encompasses. I hope you enjoy the ride with me!

Creepmas Day 10 with RSD and Smeared and Smudged

Welcome to Day 10 of the Creepmas Blog Hop. This annual event is sponsored by Smeared and Smudged. Airless Chambers, Rick’s St. Dennis Mfa’s  “alternative” blog, is participating and for each day, Rick’s Elite Designers have participated. The blog roll is on the right side bar of Airless Chambers.

I decided to use one of my favorite digital images from Rick, Lizzywigs. Doesn’t she just reek of Creepmas? Lizzywigs is available in Rick's Zibbet shop. Lizzywigs was colored with Copics and then trimmed with just a small white area around her.

Copics used:
Skin: E000, 00, 21, W4;
Lizzywigs’s Hair: G20, 21, 24, 28, 29;
Doll muslin: W00, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5;
Doll Hair and Color: YG11, 13, 17, 67;
Doll Dress: R01, 02, 05, 08, 29;
Lizzywigs’s Dress: YG11, 13, 17, 67
Lizzywigs’s and Doll’s tights:
G20, 21, 24, 28, and
R01, 02, 05, 08, 29;
Hair Bow: R01, 02, 05, 08, 29;
Shoes: C1, 3, 5, 7, 9
Background: W00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4

The next steps are created with DecoArt’s products and Fun Stampers Journey True Fusion Inks.

DecoArt’s products used were:
Acrylic White Gesso;
Media Fluid Acrylics in Silver Metallic, Cadmium Red Hue, and Green Gold;
Dazzling Metallics in Festive Green and Worn Penny;
Media Mister in Primary Yellow and Carbon Black.

The above image shows all the inking and painting complete,
along with the glitter added to the berry branches. Fun Stampers Journey
True Fusion Inks in Candy Apple, Black Licorice, and Lemon Grass,
were added after all the paint was dry.

Other supplies used:
Chipboard: FabScraps tag and Blue Fern Berry Stems and Lattic Work;
Spellbinder’s Lattic Accents;
Memory Box A Bunch of Bats;
US ArtQuest Prills (those teeny-tiny beads on the lattice work);

The finished tag below with some close-ups.
